Project
Glypthomania sculpture park

Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student

About the project
Glypthomania is a park, surrounding the museum and the sculpture studio. The park premises contain a museum, workshop pavilions, an exhibition venue for works by undergraduate sculptors, and a promenade. Images of classical and modern art complement each other here. Modern sculptures are exhibited against the Renaissance architecture.
The geometry of the project refers to marble cubes in stone quarries, echoing Avant-gardist architectons. The layout of the park is a nod to Neoplasticism paintings. Pavilions located around the park feature Antique and Renaissance architecture.
