The challenge in this project was to integrate the building into the scenic landscape of the Berezovsky Gorge — making it stand out without appearing ostentatious. To achieve this, the design echoes the surrounding cliffs through the use of stone and responds to the local flora by applying timber planking to the façades, while also defining a crisp format by cladding vertical planes in standing-seam metal. A unique architectural highlight is introduced by the pergola, with its distinct structural rhythm and play of shadows. Here, architecture seamlessly intertwines with the surrounding landscape, connecting the grounds, a rooftop viewing platform positioned above the building, and a plunge pool.
