About the project
The Headquarters of the Gordeyev Demidov Architectural Bureau is located in a two-level building in the old district of Yekaterinburg. Its interiors were carefully reinforced and adjusted for the new functionality, but the facades were left untouched.
The old wooden house comprises three sections built in different times. All the contemporary elements were removed to reveal the stucco, the brick masonry, and the wooden doors. These elements were renovated and repaired, and the missing ones were restored from scratch.
The office layout ensures that every worker can find a comfortable place. Level 2 comprises work places, and Level 1 is all about the public premises like the meeting rooms and the kitchen.
