Project
Urban sitting room

Nomination
Best Project of Public Space by a Student

About the project
The project suggests moving “sitting rooms” outside, within the city, creating a place for meeting friends, having rest, working, reading, or playing. Just like in a real family sitting room, everyone can do whatever he or she pleases, and everyone is alright. The open sitting room will connect the venue with the urban environment and multifunctional premises of the public center.
To support the concept, the public center will contain several co-working zones, and the open central site for various performances will be able to accommodate up 500 people.
The project intends to establish local communities, minor attraction sites right where people live, consistently offering cultural agenda.
