Green Mile is a dental clinic renovation project that transforms a former residential unit into an integrated medical environment despite challenges such as irregular columns, elongated geometry, and limited natural light. The design strategy focused on redefining spatial identity through the separation of treatment and waiting areas, improving circulation, hygiene, and patient comfort. The concept emerged from an abandoned balcony, transformed into the starting point of a “green path” extending through the clinic, where greenery promotes calmness and reduces anxiety. Existing structural limitations were turned into opportunities by creating concealed acoustic spaces for noisy equipment. Transparent doors and skylights improved light distribution while preserving privacy. Clinical standards were enhanced through a protected radiography room and the separation of sterile and treatment spaces, improving both functionality and user experience.
