The self-sustaining residential complex is a regenerative housing model that operates as a Closed Ecological System (CES). Inspired by the biological concept of "Roots," the architecture functions as a living organism where water, renewable energy, and waste circulate in a continuous, self-reliant loop.

The design features modular, expandable housing connected by a central pedestrian spine, all seamlessly integrated into the site's historical agricultural grid. By weaving urban farming and shared communal spaces directly into the residential fabric, the project shifts architecture from a consumptive model to a resilient ecosystem that actively fosters community stewardship, food security, and environmental adaptability.
