About the project (provided by the applicant)
Cardiovascular diseases, or CVD, are the most common cause of death in the world. Millions of doctors and scientists are working to find a treatment but prevention that is as important gets not enough attention.
The key objective of this project is to help with CVD prevention and raise awareness about healthy lifestyles. The architectural shape of the building resembles a cardiogram featuring a cardiac standstill. The author believes that it will make many people stop and think about their health.
Made of four pyramids, the building comprises exhibition pavilions and rooms, lecture halls, and an examination center. The pavilions are connected with an underground passageway.
