About the project
The design site is located in the historic part of St. Petersburg and is surrounded with lots of housing units. There are different kinds of transport available in the area, as well as extensive parking zones.
Today, the school lacks a public space for mass events, and Mr. Kudryashov is sure that this need can be satisfied in case two courtyards are used. He offers to cover them with a glass cupola and hold lectures, symposiums and all kinds of events there. The impressive colonnade with four columns located at the terrace at Level 2 of the building protects the entrance to the quiet area and the classrooms.
