About the project
This project is the hommage to Brazilian modern artists. As the residence is designed at the Yenisey, the panoramic view of the river and the Sayan Mountains were of prime importance. The metal trusses that divide the house into sections make its appearance more dynamic. Somber concrete and dark metal contrast on the wooden elements that are used for the terrace. This is how the authors made the brutal design more cozy and tactile. Concrete blocks with round openings are used both to create a game of light and shadow on the exterior and the interior and to screen the stained glass windows at the stairs.
