An vast wasteland in a remote corner of the Earth or on another planet requires rapid human settlement. The House-City-Bridge is a building constructed using volumetric block technology, designed for the living, working, and leisure needs of 170–200 people.
All blocks have a width of 7.2 m and are factory-manufactured using a lightweight plastic frame with insulation. The blocks house 64 residential apartment units of varying configurations arranged on multiple levels, with entrances connected via a gallery. The apartments feature dual orientation, providing all-day insolation and cross-ventilation even for single-room units. Public facilities occupy the first floor of the lower horizontal block, while educational and cultural spaces are positioned at the junction with the tower. Offices are located within the tower itself.
When sited in a gorge, the residential blocks are shielded from harsh conditions by the surrounding terrain, while the first-floor gallery of the horizontal block serves as a promenade bridge connecting the opposite shores.
