About the project
This large scale exhibition project offers a new take on the eco agenda and presents installations by modern Russian and international artists, doing multimedia art, as well as art & science.
Hydra is the key metaphor of the project – it stands for water, as this element is so common in St. Petersburg, but also for a legendary creature that could regrow its heads.
The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive public program, including artist talks, discussions about urban ecology, movie shows, performances, and swaps.
