Inlight Church is a contemporary spatial reinterpretation of the Gothic church, translating its sacred architectural principles into an abstract language of geometry, proportion, and sensory experience. The project seeks to revive the inherent spatial freedom and flexibility of the traditional church while reexamining the relationship between the human body and the built environment. Rather than reproducing the formal characteristics of Gothic architecture, Inlight extracts its underlying spatial and spiritual principles and transforms them into a contemporary architectural experience. At the heart of the project, a monumental opening along the central axis establishes a powerful spatial void—an aperture through which the invisible becomes perceptible.
