Project
Urban environment at the ruined barn facility
Nomination
Best Project of Public Space by a Student
About the project
An urban environment is a place to get new experience, where inside is actually outside, where you can enter through a window and walk above a garden, and where azure waters fill the building walls.
The design concept features a multifunctional landscaped park at the ruined barn facility dating back to the 19th century. The site is rearranged, its architectural and natural value unaffected. The museum, the garden, the water center, the exhibition venue, and the agricultural pavilion are designed to integrate nature and architecture. Architectural shapes are a nod to motives of the fair embankment of the 19th century and the Don of 1960s.
