About the project
This collaboration of the Primorsk State Art Gallery and Intesa SanPaolo, the largest Italian bank, to a certain extent is a symbol of Italy-Russia cultural dialogue that has ceased due to the pandemic. The designer tried to create the atmosphere of Venice, arranging for the visitor a tour down one of its channels. The central installation features a gondola. Light blue fabric represents Venetian skies, and lighting makes them send ripples on the walls resembling the sun mirrored by the water in the channels.
