About the project (provided by the applicant)
Iranian Opal Stone Exhibition Booth is located on a site with an area of 78 square meters, 13 meters long and 6 meters wide in Tehran Aftab City International Exhibition. This project was built in order to introduce the various products of company as best as possible and to describe the services they provide such as cutting, types of polishing on stone, etc.
Considering that the design of exhibition booths is mostly done in simple and conventional ways due to time, executive and economic limitations, the project design team considered this occasion as an opportunity to avoid conventional typologies and ready-made answers in order to cause distinction and create a different experience for the visitors of this exhibition.
Therefore, the design team started the design process of the project with this main question, how can we use stone, as a product of the company, and cutting, as one of the main services provided by them, to create an innovative installation Art?
