About the project
The project embraces landscaping solutions at three sites along the rivers in Ust Izhora - Izhora and Bolshaya Izhorka. As the sites already had a mooring pier of 130+ meters, an existing yacht club and a dock for river vessels, it was decided to design a yacht club. Ust Izhora is expected to become a new attraction site, the design plots connected by the river route. All architectural facilities are based on steel I-beams and poles that both work as structural elements and refer to the history of this place – these structures were most commonly applied in dockyards that used to operate in the town.
