About the project
The K-7000 Museum is intended to become part of Sevkabel Port, a cultural venue in St. Petersburg, Russia. The project places the first typical K-7 series house into one of Sevkabel’s industrial workshops. The five-story panel building will go through both workshop floors and house a permanent exhibition of the museum. K-7000 collection will highlight Soviet-era heritage, such as typical flat layouts, interior design and urban planning solutions. Visitors to the 2^nd floor of the museum will be able to study various planning solutions for panel houses in VR format; the 4^th floor will showcase typical layouts for residential areas.
