About the project (provided by the applicant)
At the stage, the actors retell the well-known plot of Anton Chekhov’s story. There are no intricate and sophisticated stage effects. The carpentry shop is transformed into the street, the stranger’s room, and the circus, sawdust work as snow. Chekhov’s stories always focus on people, and this is what the performance is about. Moreover, other plots created by the author can be spotted if you follow the story closely.
