Project
Leisure center addressing the history of the Russian cinema
Nomination
Best Architectural Project by a Student
About the project
The center is just a few minutes’ walk away from many schools and three universities, so it comprises a coworking space, as well as premises for films demonstration, exhibitions and interactive performances. The target audience includes students, school children, people of art, and any parties concerned. A restaurant, a large playground, and matinees are expected to attract various ages.
The key subject in the center is the Russian cinema, its integration in the public life and its value demonstration. Often dramatic, it lifts the veil on the depth of the Russian spirit and amor patriae – this is what the building façade implies.
