Restoration and adaptive reuse of the regional cultural heritage site “Building that housed the Vyatka Provincial Committee of the RCP(b)”

The restoration and adaptive reuse of the regional cultural heritage site “Building that housed the Vyatka Provincial Committee of the RCP(b)” were carried out from 2022 to 2026. The building, also known as the Senilov merchants’ estate, was constructed around 1860.

During the works the following was completed: complete replacement of the roof and restoration of the façades; dismantling, restoration and reinstatement of the cast-iron balcony railing; restoration of load-bearing structures and brick vaults; restoration of the historic parquet flooring; and complete reconstruction of external engineering networks (sewerage, water supply, heating networks and cables). A distinctive feature of the project is the adaptation of the building to the format of a “gastro-museum”.

About the Applicant

“SMU-Kirov” is a construction company, a team of professionals for whom reliability, durability and safety take precedence over fleeting trends. We have no ambitious plans to become the largest by construction volumes. Our goal is different — to deliver project after project to the highest possible standard of quality. And the result of our work speaks for itself. We are proud of our brick buildings with architecture beyond time and fashion, and of our project for the restoration and adaptive reuse of a cultural heritage site in Kirov at Moskovskaya street, 12a.
