About the project
Klenovy Bulvar (the Maple Boulevard) Metro Station is designed in the proximity of the really picturesque museum reserve Kolomenskoye. Naturally, the design was inspired by such a neighbor.
Urban silhouettes and contours of the district can be recognized in the above-the-ground lobby. Perforated steel panels with backlighting makes the entire facility look more aerial and is used both in the lobby and the underground part of the station. In fact, it is a reference to the sky of stars, but also a reference to the textile pottery that originated in this area.
