The Knowledge Garden is conceived as a library that operates not as a container for books, but as a civic landscape for knowledge, encounter and collective life. A large central void forms the social heart of the project, bringing daylight, movement, landscape and public activity into the center of the institution. The architecture is organized as a gradual transition from the city to collective space, from interaction to concentration and from movement to reflection. Shaded passages, courtyards, gardens and interconnected public spaces create a continuous spatial experience in which visitors can enter, cross, pause, meet, read, discover and return. The library therefore becomes more than a place for accessing knowledge: it becomes an urban environment where knowledge is encountered, shared and experienced.

Padideh Kohan Boom, founded and led by architect and urban designer Mehraz FFrahani, is an interdisciplinary studio exploring architecture through philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, and human experience. Its practice investigates how space shapes perception, emotion, behavior, memory, and social connection, seeking to create architecture that transcends function and form and becomes a meaningful cultural and human experience.
