The "Kush Manara" Mosque cultural heritage site is located on Sovetskaya Street at the intersection with Musa Jalil Street in the village of Tatarskaya Kargala, Sakmara District, Orenburg Region. This area belongs to the historical part of the village. The "Kush Manara" Mosque (before the 1917 revolution, the 8th cathedral mosque) is the oldest surviving mosque in the Orenburg region. Construction was initiated by the merchant Magdy Kaisarov and completed by his son, Mukhammedrakhim Magdiev, in 1795. The mosque was built according to a modified "standard design" for Siberian mosques from 1782. According to this design, the mosque was a stone building crowned with a domed roof and two minarets on either side of the entrance. It received the name "Kush Manara" precisely because of its two minarets featuring exterior viewing galleries and tented roofs (the literal translation of the phrase is "Two Minarets"). The southwest facade is completed by a protruding mihrab.
