About the project
The apartment is made up of the owners’ favorite things, pleasant memories and rich colors. The idea behind the project is that bright and vivid accents refresh austere architecture, working as a kind of color therapy.
Apart from the owners, the apartment hosts works of contemporary artists. When we first saw paintings by Natalia Spechinskaya, we realized that we had found a new home for them – and her artwork became the main highlight of the interior. At the entrance, there’s the skin of a giant rubber hare designed by a St. Petersburg-based sculptor. This original mascot immediately gives anyone a mood boost. In addition to color and interesting decorative elements, we have developed a functional layout with many hidden storage spaces. The textures of natural materials work well together and create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
