About the project (provided by the applicant) “Lagom” is a Swedish philosophy focused on achieving balance and harmony in life. This concept became the foundation for the design of the square, intended to balance study, work, and leisure.
The existing parking area was modernized into a semi-underground structure with a usable roof. An important part of the project is interactive art objects. All dynamic sculptures are themed around balance; visitors can interact with them — touch, swing, and rotate.
A distinctive feature of the landscape design is the glass columns distributed across the site. They complement the composition, enriching the project with plays of light and color.
The landscape design, inspired by the philosophy of “lagom,” immerses people in a natural environment, allowing them to pause and enjoy the surroundings. It creates a symbiosis of body and soul, a balance of interior and exterior, architecture and nature. All these elements are combined in a thoughtful design solution aimed at enhancing the quality of the urban environment.
