Best Implemented Interior Design Project for Apartment / Private House
About the project (provided by the applicant)
The apartment was designed for a dynamic family with two children and a dog. The parents, both business owners, lead busy lives, while the children attend school and participate in professional sports, often traveling to training camps and taking part in competitions. Given their active lifestyle, the apartment had to be both cozy and functional, i.e. be a true retreat.
Initially, the apartment featured an open plan, but structural elements such as pylons, ventilation shafts, and windows impacted the design. A primary objective was to create two separate bedrooms for the children, as they are a boy and a girl. Additionally, the design mandated two bathrooms and a utility room, along with a master bedroom complete with a spacious dressing room and bathroom.
The main living area was envisioned as a central gathering space for the entire family, featuring a large dining table and a comfortable seating for relaxation.
