About the project
The Church of the Holy Trinity, which is a cultural heritage site of regional significance, is located on the banks of the Neva in St. Petersburg. The five-domed building, typical for the Russian church architecture of the 17th century, was designed by Grigory Karpov and completed between 1862 and 1865. In 1937, the church was closed, and in 1938 the bell tower and the five domes were blown up. Later, the building housed workshops and a dormitory with a food storage in the basement and bathrooms in the altar part. ASM Group restored the ruined parts and elements of the completely destroyed facades and interiors of the church, including its iconostasis.
