About the project (provided by the applicant)
The exhibition was associated with the 80th Anniversary of the city’s release from the Fascist siege. This large-scale theatrical project presents a panoramic image of a city under siege and uses different media like visual images, genuine objects, and eyewitness accounts to make visitors feel all of it. It comprises 600+ historic objects and pieces of art borrowed from more than 50 museums, libraries, theaters, archives, and private collectors. This is a story of everyday courage, unity, support and care of each other.
