When I envisioned this futuristic library, I wanted to create a space that not only serves as a repository of knowledge but also inspires awe and tranquility. The design takes the form of an open book, symbolizing the boundless possibilities that reading and learning offer. The flowing curves of the structure mimic the pages of a book in motion, while the illuminated lines on the roof represent text, bringing the story to life even from a distance.
The ground floor is crafted using a cantilever concrete system, giving the building a sense of weightlessness and modernity. This design choice allows for expansive open spaces, ensuring readers feel at ease and can immerse themselves in their thoughts without distraction. The interplay of light and architecture creates an inviting ambiance, making this library not just a place to read but a sanctuary for the mind.
