“Light through Greenery” is the interior of a 100 sq. m apartment in the “Severnaya Korona” residential complex on the embankment of the Karpovka River in St. Petersburg. The basis of the concept was the image of a green field, tall trees and sunlight. The elongated layout was transformed with the help of an orangery at the entrance, a glass partition with variable transparency and multi-level lighting. Living plants, warm wood and a soft light palette create the sensation of a natural, calm and bright home. Each zone is adapted to the life of the family: a dressing room and a utility block are provided in the master bedroom, while the children’s room unites zones for sleep, study and gymnastics. The project has become an example of how the personal dreams of the clients can be transformed into expressive and functional interior architecture.
