Architectural and Artistic Lighting of the SLAVA Business Center

The lighting design for the SLAVA Business Center in Moscow reveals the architectural rhythm of the facades and establishes a restrained yet expressive image of the building within the evening cityscape. The centerpiece of the project is the Glorious Hikari luminaire, developed specifically for this property in collaboration with the Japanese architectural practice Nikken Sekkei. Its name combines the English "glorious" with the Japanese hikari ("light, radiance"): in Japanese culture, this imagery is associated with purity, clarity, and transparency. These core concepts guided both the artistic and technical realization of the fixture.

Over 900 custom luminaires in an exclusive Champagne Gloss finish create a precise lighting composition, emphasizing the plasticity of the facades and the building's key architectural details. Here, light becomes a seamless extension of the architecture — calm, cohesive, and instantly recognizable.
