Somewhere in a field, amid dust and music, breathes Likho — an ancient creature woven from fabric, ropes and fears.
The project explores the superstitions that unnoticed govern our routes and habits. From the outside it is a simple tent, but inside the rules lose their power: here one may put on a shirt back to front, walk under a ladder or look into a cracked mirror.
The space includes a transitional corridor with ribbons, a central zone for mass events and a network of intimate “workshops of superstition” where guests create amulets. Throughout the festival Likho absorbs people’s doubts and tension. The culmination is a performance: the awakened Likho leads a procession under a white tulle fabric with ball-fans, creating the illusion of a single living organism. In the finale the fabric slides to the ground, symbolising the victory of good over evil, and only an immobile bone framework remains in the place of the performance.
