About the project
The Theater Plaza and its extension – the Theater Descent are a significant landmark in the center of Rostov-on-Don. This is where the Gorky Drama Theater and the memorial stele To Liberators of Rostov stand.
This is the author’s attempt to revitalize the Theater Descent as the city’s cultural artery by uniting the chaotic newly erected buildings around the new attraction, as well as visually connecting the three architectural eras – the Drama Theater, the Stele, and the Don waterfront.
