Project
Decorating the private house façade with ceramics
Nomination
Best Implemented Façade or Interior Project Using Ceramics
About the project
The work includes ceramic reliefs for casing, decoration of the columns at the porch and the entrance door, as well as in the niches of the brick fencing. The house features Neorussian style, and ceramic reliefs with floral ornaments and mythical creatures make it look as a fairy-tale palace. The fence is clad with nine panels of 90 by 60 cm, and its posts are topped with ceramic pieces, too. Four wide windows are decorated with reliefs showing the Lion, the Mermaid, the Firebird, and the Dragon, whereas two narrow ones showcase the Sun. Working on this project, the author took her own approach to Russian fairy tales and their characters.
