About the project (provided by the applicant) Elegant and airy scenographic art turned out to be great for creating the spirit of the true French charm and light opera comique.
The chessboard-like floor highlights the performative and metatheatrical nature of the play, and the postcards floating above the stage add to ease and courtesy that sound in the music by Adolphe Adam. The decorations feature a curious solution, too. The open envelope lets the audience take a glance of the bedroom but get modestly shut when the time comes.
