The "Rays" Library in the village of Vartemyagi, Leningrad Region, offers a contemporary and functional interpretation of a rural community hub designed for all ages and interests. The core concept and guiding philosophy behind "Luchi" is the creation of a comfortable, cozy, and ergonomic environment for realizing creative ideas and hosting events. Through transformable furniture, mobile shelving units, and thoughtful spatial zoning, multiple functional scenarios have been successfully implemented within a compact footprint.
The project extends far beyond the traditional boundaries of a library: the interior of "Luchi" serves as a reflection of the mindset of its visitors, who come not only to read books outside the home, but to discover a new destination for relaxation and connection.
