Lyvin Melasti Villas

Lyvin Melasti Villas is situated on a secluded hilltop in the tropical forests of southern Bali — three hectares featuring panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Eighteen villas are cascaded across five natural terraces: the green roofs of the lower units transform into gardens for those above, while pools stretched along panoramic glazing reflect the horizon.

Winding internal pathways and rounded walls lend the complex a fluid, organic rhythm. Floor-to-ceiling frameless glazing and deep roof overhangs manage the light and shield interiors from the heat — every room offers direct access to the pool. Interior minimalism is expressed through local materials: Sulawesi marble, Javanese teak furniture, and ironwood decking.

The green roofs serve more than just aesthetics: they cool the living spaces, absorb noise, and reduce the load on the drainage system. Over 40% of the territory’s original tropical greenery has been preserved.
