The project for the reconstruction and adaptation of the former market buildings in Gatchina was developed with respect to historical heritage, modern requirements, and functional objectives. Archival photographs were studied and influenced the appearance of the façades. The internal structure and building framework were rethought and adapted for contemporary use, ensuring comfort and convenience for visitors. Special attention was paid to landscaping the surrounding area: green zones, walkways, and event spaces were created, transforming the former market site into a modern public space. The project aims to create an attractive, functional, and harmonious area in the center of Gatchina, combining historical value with modern urban standards.
