Category

About the project
The project includes a new residential complex on the premises of the former Okhta gunpowder factory in St. Petersburg. The concept is based on the idea of creating a residential area, which will function like a self-sufficient organism. Another priority is to preserve the listed structures and integrate them into the modern urban environment.
The design, which uses basic geometric forms and a limited range of colors, is a reference to the aesthetics of Suprematism and traditions of Leningrad architecture. The color scheme also symbolizes colored martial arts belts. The building is to become a local landmark and a meeting point for local residents.
