About the project
The design intent of this project is to create a modern organic residence in a total connection with nature on a rainforest like environment. The building surrounds several interior courtyards and offer unobstructed views to the water features and vegetation located on those areas through frameless curtain walls (no mullions or structural glass fins with spider connectors, head and sill are recessed). The hidden curtain wall sills below ground covering mulch/gravel or water pond floors allows continuity and an unobstructed view of the exterior landscape or water features as they enter the building on several areas.
Bedroom areas are separated from social areas by connecting bridges with extensive views to nature for total privacy and noise isolation.
The monstera deliciosa leaf is the main structure design generating concept; Irregular shaped fenestrations on main structure roof shell with frameless fixed glass windows at interior areas replicate leaf holes.
