Project
Mechanical War virtual park

Nomination
Best Project of Public Space by a Student

About the project
The virtual park will be split by a river into two major zones, an alive and a dead. In the 1st zone, the key facility is a “prehistoric” image. Passing the river across a bridge, the visitor gets to a very different environment, where dead trees have long ceased blossoming, and the ground is all covered with steel pipes, and rusty wheels stick out from it (a nod to the work of Jean Tinguely, a Swiss sculptor).
Moreover, the park will contain a dedicated exhibition and an objet d’art. Visitors will be welcomed by mechanical robotic guides, ready to tell them about the history of the park and accompany them to the major landmarks.
