The Film Park Complex is a cultural, tourism and museum centre dedicated to the film industry on the coast of the Sea of Azov.
The project is planned on the site of the lighthouse where the film The Lighthouse Keeper was shot. Paying tribute to the history of the place, the project aims to create a contemporary multifunctional cultural cluster bringing together a museum and exhibition complex, film production, education, tourism and public spaces.
The goal of the project is to create a contemporary film park capable of becoming a centre for the development of creative industries in southern Russia, fostering interaction between the film industry, cultural activities and the recreational environment. The concept is based on creating a space where the process of filmmaking becomes part of public life. The complex is organised along the shoreline according to the principle of a “film reel of time,” bringing together a cinema museum, exhibition spaces, film studios, an amphitheatre, a hotel complex and a waterfront promenade.
