Project
Mirage summer house at a tourist camp
Nomination
Best Constructed Public Building or Facility
About the project
In the project, the gazebo contrasts the rest of the tourist camp, which contains many diversely styled buildings. The authors used the morphological type of the existing premises – the shed, and revised it to make something different. This is how the Mirage summer house appeared – fitting into the environment but contrasting on other objects within it. The task was rather challenging. The outer perimeter is black with the lines of wooden pillars, and the interior roofing dome is made of warm-hued wood to make the summer pavilion cozy and welcoming on the inside.
