About the project (provided by the applicant)
The architectural concept of the automobile museum centers around the integration of fluid, curved lines into the overall design—shaping the plan, façade, geometry, and volumes of all the motorsport complex's buildings. The overhanging stands and the museum’s façade design refer to the very subject of the museum: automobiles. Their fluid and dynamic forms reflect the sleek contours and geometry of car bodies.
The overall layout of the museum complex mirrors the design of the Red Ring racing track, following its curves and adapting to the natural contours of the terrain.
The museum’s central atrium features a display structure housing a car collection. Vehicles are transported here on a lifting mechanism located in the center, with cars arriving from the maintenance area on the ground floor. Additionally, a vertical structure within the atrium showcases a collection of racing motorcycles.
