About the project (provided by the applicant):
Visitors of the museum will learn about Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cainozoic periods, and there will be a special room dedicated to natural history of the Leningrad Region. Besides the exhibition premises, there will be a research center and an educational facility.
The ground floor of the museum is located below the level of the prospect, and the embankment is shaped with the extensive podium. The marine paleontology room spreads into the river. The facades are finished with Jurassic marble which is known for its high concentration of organic fossils.
