Sombhara is envisioned as an extended public plaza embedded within nature, expressed architecturally as a bridge-like intervention that connects landscape, movement, and community life. Rather than functioning only as a passage, the structure becomes an inhabited civic spine containing archives, reading areas, community rooms, exhibition pockets, gathering spaces, and essential public facilities. Its elevated form allows the natural terrain to continue beneath and around it, reducing disturbance while creating framed views of the surrounding landscape. Open terraces, shaded edges, and pause points transform circulation into an experience of discovery. The project therefore operates simultaneously as bridge, plaza, archive, and social commons — creating a flexible public destination where knowledge, recreation, nature, and collective activity coexist within one continuous architectural landscape.
