About the project
This project is a two-story villa located in Babolsar Iran. The main concept of the formation of this villa is to preserve the existing form type in the context, considering the empty spaces around the main mass and closed spaces. Empty space is very valuable in Iranian literature and art, and this space in architecture causes the expansion and happiness of the human soul. This villa, like a ney (an Iranian musical instrument), whose sound is produced by the empty space in the middle, owes its quality to the empty space around it. Considering terraces, bridges and stairs in this empty space, it is possible to move in different directions and spend time in this space. Due to the effect of the empty space geometry and the events that occur in it ,on the framing of the view and the amount of shadow and light entering the interior spaces, the quality of the interior spaces is also affected by this empty space.
