About the project
For a long time, there was only a foundation pit at this site, but in 2020 top architects of the city were invited to develop their concepts of the building. One of the selection criteria was the speed of construction, although it was also important that the new facility wouldn’t dominate over the Main Fair House — the highlight of the square. In the end, a laconic solution was chosen that offered a modern take on the antique architecture.
