About the project
Nizhny Novgorod is a city in Central Russia that has its own architectural school. Its main feature is continuity of generations. This is a connection when the new replaces the old and retains some of its elements. The author wanted to highlight this feature in the new building of the university, which is the Alma Mater of architects. Continuity is in architectural techniques, too – the use of the same module, references to the surrounding geometry etc.
