About the project
This a multifunctional convention and exhibition center in Arkhangelsk, suitable for holding forums, exhibitions, sports events and children’s parties, conferences, concerts, and many more.
Designers and architects wanted to make some contrast between the exterior and interior of the building. An iceberg on the outside, a soft cozy space inside.
The main lobby of the center features light shades and much wood. A light installation there symbolizes melting of snow – drops of water seem to leak in and then fall from the ceiling in cascades. The reception stand with 3D panels on its front resembles ice atop a frozen water reservoir.
Designers managed to create a project that matches a modern city’s needs. The center comprises a spacious hall with a light installation, a multifunctional exhibition space, a café zone, lounges and a conference hall at the ground floor, as well as conference rooms at the first floor.
